Sounding 6 (1973)

Given that this is a text in itself, I won’t burden it with too many words. It is a wonderful insight into the character of Peter Garland’s long running avant-garde music publication Soundings (for those unaware of it), as well as being fascinating document of the long standing friendship between the two composers (Palestine and Marshall) who met as students, and have retained a deep mutual support and sense of adventure in the years that have ensued since.

I took the below photo’s on my phone. They aren’t great (forgive me), but hopefully they do the trick. Enjoy!
