Arthur Russel is one of my favorite composers of all time. It’s a rare day that he doesn’t cross my mind, or his music doesn’t permeate my world. I consider his death to have been one of the music world’s greatest tragedies. My heart breaks to think what might have been – what sounds we might have heard. We are lucky to carry what little of him we have. I recently came across a short stack of images  that I’ve been slowly gathering, but have yet to pass along. I thought it might be nice to bring them together as a set – attempting to keep the wonderful composer at the front of you mind.
